Great set up for the money! June 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had this seat for 1 week now. Playing Forza 2 is much more fun now than it was with the x360 controller. I agree with the previous poster regarding the rigidity of the steel used. The seat does squeak a bit when I get in and out of it. But, mine isn't that bad. I don't think I'd recommend this seat to anyone weighing more than around 250lbs though. It was easy to assemble with the included tools. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I just saw the VRX racing cockpit. Now that thing is impressive!
Lacks Quality, but fills its purpose. June 8, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Welp, have gotten the Gaming Seat home and assembled and it looks GREAT and it definitely does what it's supposed to. To be honest, it's a nice addition to my racing setup. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it just doesn't live up to it's steep price tag. For the money, it should just have a more rigid, higher density frame. Every time I get up from the chair, the metal arm that mounts the foot pedals to the seat flexes and knocks stuff over. Luckily I got it on sale for a mere $199, I seriously wouldn't recommend buying it for any more than that.
The playseat is great! March 4, 2005 13 out of 18 found this review helpful
I just got my playseat and Logitech force pro wheel together and it is swell! I wish I got the black one instead of the blue one but, it still looks good. The seat is nice and cushioned and firm. The pole that holds the wheel is not perfect, it wobbles a tiny bit but, when you are driving you wont even notice it. The metal is put together a little better then good, I can see the welding of the pieces that are put together for a racing setup that costed me $330.76. I would recommend it then the sparco seat thats coming out because the wheel still doesn't feel real enough.
